Seufert Rechtsanwälte advised Klinikum Fulda gAG on the acquisition of the insolvent Rhön-Klinik in Gersfeld. The newly formed Klinikum Gersfeld gGmbH, a 100% subsidiary of Klinikum Fulda gAG, takes over operation of the acute hospital. The rehabilitation facility also belonging to the Rhön-Klinik Gersfeld will be operated by another investor. The overall care (orthopaedic, emergency surgery, oncology, urology, internal medicine and gynaecology) and most of the jobs are retained. Confidentiality about the purchase price was agreed.
