After legal studies in Regensburg and Aberdeen and practical training, Dr. Aygün Starzer commenced her legal career in a Berlin law firm with an extensive medical law practice, before becoming in-house counsel in a medical devices manufacturer. She subsequently worked for many years in the legal and research department of one of the worldwide leading pharmaceutical companies. Following completion of her doctoral thesis on hospital law, she co-authored, inter alia, the commentary "Medizinrecht" published by Spickhoff. Dr. Starzer specialises in hospital, pharmaceuticals and medical devices law. "Frau Dr. Starzer's particular expertise in clinical research, in particular cooperation between doctors and hospitals on the one hand and the industry on the other, will significantly expand our team's range of services", said Health Care partner Dr. Thomas Vollmöller.
